SOPRINTENDENZA SPECIALE PER I BENI ARCHEOLOGICI DI ROMA
COMPLETION OF THE PROJECT TO REHABILITATE THE UPPER AREA
The Soprintendenza Speciale per i Beni Archeologici di Roma has completed the definitive project for the Protection System to be installed in the area above Domus Aurea, a fundamental step for the safeguard of the monument.
The project will be illustrated to the press on Wednesday 18 June at 10.30 am by the Superintendent Mariarosaria Barbera and the director of the Domus Aurea, Fedora Filippi. The minister for Cultural Heritage and Tourism, Dario Franceschini, will participate in the presentation.
The press conference will be held inside the monument, in the Octagonal Room; journalists will be accompanied here through the ongoing conservation workshops, open to the press for the first time.
We advise participants to wear clothing suited to temperatures that are cooler than outside with high humidity.
Please send the names of participants to firstname.lastname@example.org
For safety reasons and to ensure that you reach the Octagonal Room in time please arrive at the accreditation desk by 10 am on Wednesday 18 June.
