On 5 July 2013, the exhibition Natura delle cose Natura dei fatti Natura della vita, with photographs by Master Guido Orsini, was inaugurated at Villa Capo di Bove.
This exhibition is an art project conceived within the framework of the festival "Dal Tramonto all'Appia" 2013, organized by the Superintendency for the Archaeological Heritage of Rome and the International Centre of Contemporary Art "Sala 1".
It consists of a series of photographic "views" of ancient gardens; they are analogue photos, developed and printed personally by the artist in black and white on transparent plates, two metres high: the prints, which at first glance recall the technique of the engraving, return an extraordinary visual impact to the optical perspective, conveying the feeling of "Ancient" of the past centuries and, consequently, a romantic image of those wonderful hidden places.
The area of Capo di Bove is, therefore, an ideal location for the staging of these new works.
Until 15 December 2013.
Monday to Saturday, from 10.00 to 16.00; Sunday from 10.00 to 18.00 (legal time; 10.00- 16.00 with standard time)
Admission is free.
