08/10/2015 - 31/01/2016

120 works from public and private collections in Italy and abroad form a wide-ranging discourse on ruins: evidences of the past, places of memory, traces of war, records of natural disasters, signs of damage to the environment. Ruins are investigated in their duplicity: warning about destruction and regenerating force. The exhibition The Power of Ruins, from 8 October to 31 January 2016 will be held in all of the rooms of the Museo Nazionale Romano at Palazzo Altemps, complementing the works in the permanent collection that contribute to the richness of the narrative.
